Microsoft Teams Phone & VoIP

Your business phone system, inside Teams.

If your team already uses Microsoft Teams for chat and meetings, there's no reason to run a separate phone system. Teams Phone turns Teams into a full business phone system — inbound and outbound calls, voicemail, call transfers, auto-attendants, and call queues, all without traditional phone hardware.

No more desk phones gathering dust. No more PBX boxes in the server cupboard. No more separate phone bills. Your team makes and receives calls from their laptop, mobile, or a Teams-certified handset if they prefer one — using your existing business numbers.

We handle the full setup: licensing, number porting, auto-attendant configuration, call queue design, and user training. Once it's live, we manage it as part of your IT support — adds, moves, and changes are just a ticket away.

Why Teams Phone

No hardware

No PBX boxes, no phone line contracts, no maintenance. Just Teams and an internet connection.

Work anywhere

Business calls on any device. Your team stays reachable whether they're in the office or remote.

Simple billing

One Microsoft licence covers calling. No per-minute charges, no hidden fees, no separate phone bill.

What You Get

Call from Anywhere

Make and receive business calls from your laptop, mobile, or desk phone — wherever you are. Your business number works the same whether you're in the office, at home, or on the move. No more missed calls because someone's away from their desk.

Auto-Attendants & Call Queues

Set up a professional greeting that routes callers to the right person or department. Configure call queues so incoming calls are distributed across your team. No expensive PBX hardware required — it all runs through Teams.

Keep Your Numbers

We port your existing UK business numbers to Teams so your clients and suppliers don't need to update their contacts. The switch is seamless — calls to your old number ring in Teams from day one.

One Platform for Everything

Chat, video meetings, file sharing, and now phone calls — all in the same app your team already uses. No switching between systems. Call history, voicemail, and contacts are all inside Teams.

How We Set It Up

Audit your current setup. We review your existing phone system, numbers, and call flows. We map out what needs to be replicated in Teams and what can be improved.

Configure and port. We set up Teams Phone licensing, configure auto-attendants and call queues, and port your existing numbers. We test everything before the switch so there's no disruption.

Train your team. We walk your staff through making calls, transferring, checking voicemail, and using the mobile app. It's Teams — most people pick it up in minutes.

Ongoing management. New starters, leavers, number changes, call flow updates — we handle it all as part of your IT support. No need to learn the Teams admin centre yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We port your existing UK landline and mobile numbers to Teams. The process takes a few working days and we coordinate the cutover so there's no gap in service. Your clients call the same number — it just rings in Teams now.

No. Most teams just use the Teams app on their laptop and mobile. If someone prefers a physical handset, we can supply Teams-certified desk phones or headsets — but they're optional, not required.

Calls can be set to forward to mobile numbers as a fallback. Since Teams Phone works on mobile data too, your team can still make and receive business calls on their phones even if the office internet is down.

Teams Phone requires a Microsoft 365 Business Voice or Teams Phone licence. If you're already on Microsoft 365 Business Premium or E3/E5, we add the calling plan on top. We'll review your current licences and recommend the most cost-effective option.

For a typical small business, we can have Teams Phone fully configured in one to two weeks. Number porting depends on your current provider but usually completes within five to ten working days. We run both systems in parallel during the transition.
